We are pleased to share some great RE4 news in these tough and uncertain times. The RE4 project has been honoured with the Hans Sauer Award 2020 in the category Tools | Materials | Methods! The jury has chosen 7 winners from over 70 submissions from Germany and the Netherlands. Congratulations to the whole Consortium for this wonderful achievement!

We are at the Boosting Innovation Tour conference at BVV in Brno!
The main objective of the conference is to present EU national and regional initiatives to support innovation, access to research and technology infrastructure and financial support to boost innovation beyond 2020.
The conference showcases successful examples of innovation support and provides an opportunity to provide feedback to high-level EU representatives and discuss the needs of the local industry.

We are delighted to be a part of a new H2020 project Powerskin+! The project focuses on a highly advanced modular integration of insulation, energizing & storage systems for non-residential buildings.
Next week we start the project with a Kick-off meeting in Brussels from 9th to 10th October. We can't wait!

We feel very proud to be a part of this great H2020 project. RE4 project has been selected for the final session of the INERTIA AWARD. The winner of this award will be announced at the RemTech Expo.
The event will take place from 18th to 20th September in Ferrara, Italy (near Bologna). Thanks for your support!

RE4 project is among the finalists of the 2019 .eu Web Awards! We are both pride and happy to make it this far and we want to thank you for your overwhelming support. The winners will be announced during the gala ceremony on 20th November in Brussels, Belgium.

We are really happy to share with you the RE4 project technical sheet we have designed at FENIX TNT. The project has made great progress and you can learn more about it from the flyer.
Various RE4 elements like sandwich panels or extruded facade tiles are created from CDW derived materials with special care for reusability. Just take a look and see the developed elements in the photographs!

From 4th to 5th June, the 8th FISSAC project General Assembly meeting took place at the TECNALIA Research & Innovation facilities in Bilbao, Spain.
The gathered consortium discussed the current project status and future plans. On the second day of the meeting, all partners had the opportunity to visit the experimental building KUBIK and Tecnalia facilities & laboratories.
We at FENIX TNT want to congratulate FISSAC project for its achievements and we cannot wait for the future results!

Four Horizon2020 projects will be presented at this years EU Sustainable Energy Week. A cluster workshop named "TRANSFORMING CONSTRUCTION WASTE INTO ENERGY EFFICIENT SOLUTIONS" will take place at Résidence Palace on 18th June 2019 in Brussels, Belgium.
This workshop will be a perfect opportunity to learn about the different ways of converting construction and demolition waste. Approaches of RE4 project, VEEP, INNOWEE and Green Instruct will be presented and discussed.

Cluster workshop organized by H2020 projects - EnDurCrete Project, RESHEALINCE, DACOMAT and Amanac Project - will take place in Brussels, Belgium.
The full name of the workshops is "AMANAC Workshop - What kind of built environment for future generations?" and you can read the full list of its themes on the registration form website or in the leaflet created by FENIX TNT.
We cannot wait for July!

At the end of February, ANDAF conference took place in Padova, Italy. The conference focused on financing options for various stakeholders and industries.
On 25th February, FENIX TNT, as a successful SME providing consultancy services in the field of H2020, gave a presentation about the company and projects FENIX is a partner of, H2020 funding schemes, new framework Horizon Europe, and success cases.
The goal of the conference was to spread awareness about possibilities that stakeholders have, to finance their innovative ideas.
It was great to have the opportunity to present our projects and achievements to an audience of fellow professionals! See you next time!

On 28th February, our partner project FISSAC project was presented at "TODAY's WASTE, TOMORROW MATERIAL - Circular Economy in Construction" workshop within World Sustainable Energy Days 2019 in Wels, Austria. For that occasion we have prepared a scientific poster, that will introduce you to the ideas behind the project.

Last week (on 19th & 20th March) we have organized the RE4 project General Assembly Meeting in Prague. Project partners have discussed a project status, its latest updates and future plans. All the people were also invited to join a tour through the centre of Prague. We hope everyone enjoyed the beauties of the Czech capital as much as we did.
During the meeting, FENIX TNT organized a business model workshop and recorded short interviews with RE4 project partners.

On 12th March 2019, Martina Bakešová from FENIX TNT took part in the "Towards low carbon heating and cooling in buildings" workshop organized within the framework of ISH fair 2019 in Frankfurt, Germany.
THERMOSS project, Heat4Cool and SunHorizon H2020 projects presented their approaches to the problem and showed how their technology benefits both the building sector and environment.

Last month we have produced a video about SCORES project! It will introduce you to the ideas behind the project, its goals, plans & partners. See it yourself & spread the word about SCORES!

On 28th February 2019, we successfully co-organized two workshops within the World Sustainable Energy Days 2019 in Wels, Austria.
The first workshop "SAVE TODAY, USE TOMORROW" was oriented on the topic of thermal energy storage systems and featured CREATE project, SCORES project and Thermoss project where FENIX TNT is a dissemination leader. These were joined by three more H2020 projects HYBUILD, TESSe2b and SUNHORIZON.

Actors from the whole construction value-chain, including academia, industry, and representatives of the European were discussing the topics of innovation in the Built Environment in Europe at the 8th ECTP conference.
In addition, the ECTP conference offered an exhibition area in which key results from innovation projects are presented. We presented RE4 project together with the project coordinator from CETMA and other H2020 projects we are participating in.

The 10th session of the Scientific Council of BIC Brno took place on October 25, 2018. This time at the premises of the innovative company ENBRA a.s.
FENIX TNT and our successful research projects were presented within the "Energy Efficiency as a Key Theme" section. The presentation was focused on examples of good practice of projects supported by the H2020 program, focusing on new eco-materials and eco-solutions in construction, namely, CREATE project and RE4 project.

FENIX TNT team will introduce the EnDurCrete Project project within the “AMANAC WORKSHOP - Branding innovations beyond the technical Life Cycle Assessment and the trade-offs of sustainable growth” 29th of October, 13:00-17:30 in Vienna (Austria). The presentation is titled “How to use positive LCA as a value proposition and exploitation/business tool”.
The workshop (organised by AMANAC cluster partners) aims to address the challenges and opportunities of Life Cycle based decision-making by offering different stakeholders a thorough review of various LCA technical and communication barriers. It will consider social and economic perspectives to facilitate a thorough and holistic sustainable approach.

FENIX TNT, as a part of the RE4 project consortium attended the General Assembly meeting after 24 months of the project on 17th - 18th October in Gothenburg, Sweden. Partners discussed the project progress, shared the results with the consortium and planned activities for the next period of the project. Our team also led an exploitation workshop during the meeting.
Thanks to the local organizers of the meeting – partners from RISE, the consortium had a chance to attend a night sightseeing tour in the city.

FENIX TNT, in collaboration with Nuova Tesi, organizes a workshop focused on the production and installation of the ECO-Binder panels. The workshop will take place on 20th September 2018 in the hotel Maggior Consiglio in Treviso, Italy.

Information and Networking Days on Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 5 – Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials – 2019 calls is an event which targets potential applicants to the 2019 calls for project proposals under the Horizon 2020 Challenge 5 "Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials". FENIX will participate both days, company will be presented by Petra Colantonio.

The ECO-Binder project GA meeting took place in Brussels, Belgium on 3rd-4th July 2017. It was a great opportunity for project partners to meet again and a great opportunity to evaluate and review project results.

FENIX TNT was part of the seminar “Communication strategy in H2020 projects” which took place in Prague. Petra Colantonio from our team led one of the case studies which was dedicated to education in the field of communication and dissemination in European projects. It was also a great opportunity to show more details about some of our projects.

26th June we had a chance to host representatives of the China Academy of Building Research (CABR) at our premises. It was a unique opportunity for both teams to exchange knowledge and experiences with research projects. FENIX team introduced all European research projects during the meeting via presentation, videos and brochures.

Information videos are very important part of dissemination. Thanks to this tool, we are able to summarize the project in few minutes. Take a look at the latest video we created by FENIX, introducing the RE4 project, its objectives, concept, demo sites and much more.

On Thursday 24th May, FENIX TNT attended the CONWEEB Workshop in CSIC Office in Brussels, Belgium. It was a great opportunity to meet professionals and representatives of H2020 European projects that are dealing with turning construction waste into energy-efficient buildings. The attendants had a chance to see VEEP project, RE4 project (where our team is involved) and also Green Instruct project and InnoWee project.

Dissemination is one of our domain. Take a look on our newly released video about the E2VENT project. The video was created by our team and includes interviews with the project partners as well as installation process of the E2VENT system.

FENIX TNT, in collaboration with Technology centre CAS, organizes a workshop named “E2VENT project – Horizon 2020 in practice”. The workshop takes place on May 30, 2018 in Prague at the facility of Technological centre.

FENIX team represented its projects at Building Fairs in Brno, Czech Republic. From 25. to 28.4. 2018 visitors had a chance to see a unique presentation of all aspects of housing and house constructions, building management services, technical solutions and equipment.

FISSAC project consortium (including FENIX team) is met during the General Assembly meeting after 30 months of the project in Keraben premises in Valencia (Spain), 18.-19.4.2018.
Fenix organized an exploitation workshop and presented business model approach within the meeting. The consortium also had an opportunity to visit Keraben premises.

Fenix team presented all its projects at BUDMA Fair in Poznan, Poland on 30 January – 2 February 2018 with a booth.
BUDMA is the largest construction fair in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe with more than 800 exhibitors from all over the world. It´s a unique opportunity to introduce new products to wide public and a rich source of latest market information.

Our company was presented by Petra Colantonio at the EKOinnovation Forum on 30th November in Krtiny, Czech Republic. The forum aimed to accelerate the emergence of modern solutions into everyday life. Participants were provided with an interesting discussion of current and future trends in this area and introduced modern sustainable technologies that can provide European Union countries with global competitiveness.

The CRETAE project was presented by FENIX TNT team at the 33rd International CAE Conference and Exhibition in Vincenza, Italy from 6th - 7th November 2017. The project was classed under RESEARCH AGORÀ which was the area dedicated to the dissemination of the most innovative European Research Projects.

The CREATE consortium met at General Assembly Meeting after 24 months. The meeting took place from 18th to 20th October in Venice, Italy and was organized by LUVATA. The agenda of the meeting included the project overview and overall progress, an exploitation workshop led by FENIX TNT, and presentations of individual work packages. Within these presentations, partners presented the work package update, progress, issues, and achievements and plans for the next 6-months period.

As one of the project partners of THERMOSS, Fenix TNT attended GA M12 Meeting which took place from 10th to 11th October 2017 in Bergamo, Italy and was hosted by one of the project partners, Schneider Electric. The consortium shared the overall progress of the project over the past six months and discussed the individual work packages in detail. All partners also attended an Exploitation Workshop, which presented a clear vision of the objectives of the project and a well-planned strategy for the protection and exploitation of results.

Our team attended a GA Meeting of the Fissac project which took place from 4th to 5th October 2017 in Stockholm Sweden. Fenix TNT organised an exploitation workshop and a business model workshop.

Fenix TNT attended the last RE4 project Progress Meeting (M12) which took place from 20th to 21st September 2017 in Berlin, Germany and was hosted by one of the project partners, Roswag Architekten. The consortium shared the overall progress of the project over the past six months and discussed a detailed plan for the next 6-month period. Part of the meeting was also an Exploitation Workshop, which presented a clear vision of the objectives of the project and a well-planned strategy for the protection and exploitation of results.

The FENIX TNT projects were presented by Petra Colantonio during the “Be successful in the Horizon 2020 project” workshop in Technology Innovation Transfer Chamber (Brno, Czech Republic) on 20th September 2017. The workshop was intended for innovative companies and research centres from the Czech Republic.
