FENIX in Bilbao, Spain
We are thrilled to share that FENIX recently participated in the kick-off meeting of the REDYSIGN project! Hosted by Tecnalia Research and Innovation, the event took place in the city of Bilbao, Spain, on the 3rd and 4th of October.
The meeting commenced with a warm and gracious welcome from the host, setting the stage for the days ahead. The objectives and ambitions of the REDYSIGN project were presented, igniting enthusiasm among the attending partners. It was the perfect opportunity to lay the foundation for future collaborations.
Each partner had the chance to introduce their respective organizations and teams, emphasizing their unique contributions to the project's success and Chloe Johnson from Circular-bio Based Europe outlined the project's efficient management strategies, ensuring smooth and coordinated progress.
As the formalities concluded, Pablo Ortiz Urraca of the REDYSIGN project outlined the roadmap for the next six months. Our team member Michal Klauda shared an overview of the Data Management Plan, highlighting our commitment to data handling and transparency.
The first day concluded on a high note with partners coming together for a group photo on the rooftop of the Tecnalia building, capturing the spirit of unity and collaboration. The day's success was celebrated with a delightful traditional dinner, fostering connections and camaraderie among the project participants.
The second day was dedicated to detailed work package presentations. The leaders presented their objectives, deliverables, aims, and strategies for the upcoming months followed by lively discussions about contributions and objectives for each task.
Additionally, partners had the opportunity to vote for the project's logo and set crucial dates for future meetings.
