CARBON4MINERALS PROJECT INTRODUCTION

We introduce you to our new project – the CARBON4MINERALS Project, short for "Transforming CO2 into added-value construction products” where we lead the Dissemination, communication, exploitation and co-learning work package.

ABOUT

CARBON4MINERALS is a 48-month research project funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No. 101091870 with EU contribution of 14.846.811 € in funding and a total cost of 20 322 450 €.

The project started in January 2023 and will end in December 2026.

CONCEPT

The core concept of CARBON4MINERALS addresses the simultaneous use of CO2 from industrial flue gases with current and future waste streams to unlock a vast stock of resources for innovative low-carbon binders and construction materials. A total of 8 industrial pilots will be built and operated across the process value chain from CO2 capture to cement production and low-carbon construction products.

As Dissemination, communication, exploitation and co-learning work package leaders, our work includes:

project identity (logo, brand, colouring, imagery)

  • website design and maintenance (www.carbon4minerals.eu)

  • social media management

  • event organisation and participation

  • copywriting, articles, publications

  • graphical design
